Came here for pumpkins after dark. My first time and for 50 bucks (2 tickets 1 adult one child).. there is NO wow factor. The carving skills, sure that was amazing but the general set up, the execution of the event, the display of the artwork.. it's very blend and boring. they have time slots for tickets, but really, that serves no purpose. Too many people on the trail at once MAKING it harder to get pictures or enjoy the display.I lost interest after a few minutes. My kid was bored . It's pointless..can't enjoy anything but wait in line or turns to click a snap.. it was wet and trail was becoming slippery, poor lighting in some places of the trail. Nah.. not worth it! Better to go mann farms than this.
Track is not functional now, but we visit stadium during some not sport events so doesn't matter, just rubbish parts of old cover and pure concrete. For those who care: wait for announce, currently staited: "Work is currently underway to replace the track. It will remain closed to the public until further notice."
Visited during the bubble tea festival. They call it: "The largest bubble tea festival in Canada" - my opinion: Very Sad. 4 vendors in 1 place with limited stock and really short menu! Simply go to CoCo and get better drinks for same price. You'll find much more options and bigger menu in one store.
Decent location for events. Previously have gone for soccer but I've also gone for 2 Pumpkins After Dark. Those are really fun. I do wish there was a performative element like jugglers and fire breathers and clowns too. That'd be really really cool
Such a great experience for pumpkin after dark ... you can spend great time with family
Came here for pumpkins after dark and honestly felt like the money wasn’t worth it. i have four stars since this stadium isn’t only known for this event, but if it was then i would have given it two stars.
i felt like for the amount of money you pay, there should be more wow factors and it got boring seeing a bunch of different types of carved pumpkins. the noises and music coming from some sections did make it more interesting. i felt like at most places instead of only putting up pumpkins they could have added more decorations to pop out.
Went to the Pumpkins after dark.
Great time and effort put into setting up the event
Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, B.C. has a long history in the city, but it's also made a name for itself as a concert venue over the last few years. The stadium is home to many local sports teams and was once the training facility for national soccer teams. It's also been used as a concert venue.
The stadium is located inside Central Park Burnaby,
The setup actually works quite well for outdoor concerts - the middle of the track provides plenty of room for a stage. washrooms nearby (you can bring your own food & drink). Parking is free and available nearby on Imperial Street or in any of the nearby streets .
